Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Toastworthy Events, we’re committed to creating unforgettable celebrations with care, professionalism, and intention. Because every event involves significant time, planning, and resource allocation, the following policy ensures fairness for both parties.

Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and begin planning services.
The remaining balance is due [X days] prior to the event date, unless otherwise stated in your agreement.
For full-service packages, a payment schedule may be outlined in your contract.

Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your event:

30+ days before the event: You may receive a refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit. If any custom purchases or planning work have already been completed, costs associated with those may be deducted from the refund.
15–29 days before the event: You will receive a partial refund of 50% of the payments made beyond the deposit. Custom purchases or planning fees already incurred may still be deducted.
14 days or fewer before the event: No refunds will be issued, as work and resources are already committed.

Rescheduling

We understand that life happens. One-time rescheduling is allowed at no charge if requested at least 21 days before your event, subject to date availability.
Less than 21 days’ notice may incur a rescheduling fee to cover associated costs.
If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the cancellation policy will apply.

Force Majeure

If your event is canceled or delayed due to circumstances beyond either party’s control (e.g., natural disaster, government restrictions, pandemic-related closures), we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your event. Refunds or credits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Processing

Refunds (when applicable) will be processed within 14 business days.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
